Welcome Back!!

Albeit cooler temps, come join the team ride this Sunday at 830am at the Ina/Oracle Starbucks for some more miles!

Ride Route:  Starbucks east on Ina to Campbell.  Campbell south to River.  River west to La Canada, La Canada north to Tangerine, Tangerine to Innovation Park, Innovation Park to Rancho Vistoso Blvd.  At the  RVB and Innovation Park intersection, reverse the route to with a stop at Bruegger’s at Naranja/La Canada to get back to the start and COFFEE!!

Quick Note 1:  If you haven’t paid this year’s membership fees ($50 payable to Ride On Cycling), please make payment this Sunday.  If you’re not at the ride, please make payment arrangements.  Thank you!

Quick Note 2:  The upcoming Tucson Bicycle Classic is one of  this year’s two team volunteer events.  Please follow the volunteer link and look to sign up for one of the open positions on Sunday, March 3rd.  Sign-up link here:

Another Quick Note:  Mark your calendars for the 20th Annual 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo on Saturday/Sunday, February 16th/17th.  With a half a dozen ROC riders participating in the event this year, let’s meet up to support them and the local cycling community.  If you haven’t ever been to the course, LOTS of fun!  Do we have carpool volunteers??

One Last Note:  Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 31st for #M2M2M 2019.  What is it you say?  It’s another ROC Adventure!!  The “early season” LSD ride leaves from the Mercado and winds its way to the top of Madera Canyon and then back to the Mercado.  Thanks to some most generous volunteers and team supporters, there will be quality SAG support (3 stops) with  a Build Your Own Peanut Butter and Jelly Bar at the top of the canyon!

This year’s M2M2M is open to friends and the general public and is $40 for non-ROC riders.  ROC riders please contribute what works best for you.  Monies raised to benefit El Grupo Youth Cycling.  Please help spread the word!
